How to arrive to Wrocław

By plane: Copernicus Airport Wrocław (IATA code: WRO) is on the city’s western outskirts, not far from our venue.

By train: You can arrive at the Wrocław Main Railway Station by train from many European directions.

By car: You can reach the city for example by following the A4 highway in the southern part of Poland; it links the Polish cities: Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, Rzeszów with the city of Dresden in Germany and Lviv in Ukraine.

How to reach city centre?

Transport from the airport is very convenient. There are two ways to reach the city centre – the bus and the taxi. The municipal bus no. 106 departures from the airport every 15 minutes and it can also take you to the Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny). You can buy the bus tickets from the ticket machine (cash/card) or pay the fare (~0.90 euro) directly in the bus (PayPass card only) using self-service terminal.

You can find the most convenient public transport connection from the Main Railway Station to your destination using the website/app JakDojade. You can indicate the searched destination by the address or name of the building/institution/hotel. The Taxi from the airport directly to the City Centre costs approximately 12 euro. In many cabs you can pay by card – those cabs are marked with credit card companies logos.

From the Main Railway Station/Bus Station:

By train: From the Wrocław Main Railway Station WROCŁAW GŁÓWNY you can travel directly to our venue – just take a train to the WROCŁAW PRACZE station. Our campus is directly opposite the Wrocław Pracze station building (on the other side of railway tracks).

Driving from outside of the city, it’s good to leave the A4 highway using the exit called “Wroclaw Poludnie”, take A8 in the direction of Warsaw (Warszawa), continue north, take the “Wroclaw Stadion” exit, drive the route 94 (Kosmonautow str.), then turn right into Starogajowa str. and than again right into Stablowicka str. When you pass the railway tracks, our campus and main building (symposium venue) will be on you right. Enter the gate and find a parking place.

Driving from the city center, drive the Legnicka str. westwards, continue straight ahead taking route 94 (Lotnicza str. and Kosmonautow str.) and then follow the above instructions (turning right into streets: Starogajowa and then Stablowicka).

By taxi: You can order a taxi with English speaking driver from these companies:

Bus lines: 101 and 103 have a stop PRACZE ODRZAŃSKIE (Stacja kolejowa) – directly in front of our main building.
