The city of a hundred bridges

Łukasiewicz – PORT is located in the historic Pracze Campus. It consists of buildings erected at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, surrounded by greenery. Brick walls house modern laboratories with world-class equipment that enables the implementation of both application research projects and basic research.

Since 2019, our Institute is part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the third-largest research network in Europe. It connects over 30 institutes from all over Poland, and its goal is to build a bridge between science and business.

How to arrive to Wrocław?

How to reach the city centre?

From the Copernicus Airport Wrocław

Transport is very convenient. There are two ways to reach the city centre – the bus and the taxi.

The municipal bus no. 106 departures from the airport every 15 minutes and it can also take you to the Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny). You can buy the bus tickets from the ticket machine (cash/card) or pay the fare (~0.90 euro) directly in the bus (PayPass card only) using self-service terminal.

You can find the most convenient public transport connection from the Main Railway Station to your destination using the website jakdojade.pl/wroclaw. You can indicate the searched destination by the address or name of the building/institution/hotel.

The Taxi from the airport directly to the City Centre costs approximately 12 euro. In many cabs you can pay by card – those cabs are marked with credit card companies logos.

From the Main Railway Station called Dworzec Główny and the Bus Station called Dworzec Autobusowy PKS

Ticket machines are placed on the bus stops/tramway stations (cash/card). Transport fare can be also paid directly in the bus/tramway (PayPass card only) using self-service terminal. If you are buying the ticket outside the bus/tramway, we recommend you to buy 1‑hour ticket as it is valid for all the lines.

You can find the most convenient public transport connections to your destination using the website jakdojade.pl/wroclaw. You can indicate the searched destination by the address or name of the building/institution/hotel.

As the both stations are close to the Centre the taxi fares are relatively low (3 – 5 euro). Taxi cabs can be found just outside the bus and the train station.
