Cookies

In accordance with the accepted practice of most websites, Łukasiewicz — PORT stores HTTP queries directed to our server. Browsed resources are identified by URL addresses.

The most important cookies our website can use:

  • session cookies for logged in users,
  • cookie storing information about the language,
  • cookies from an external Google Analytics tool (https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage#gajs),
  • cookie storing information that we have closed the cookie information window (plugin installed),
  • cookies storing information regarding the possibility of printing articles (web pages) using the PrintFriendly plug-in.

The cookie mechanism is not used to obtain any information about website users or track their navigation. Cookies used on the Łukasiewicz – PORT websites do not store any personal data or other information collected from users.

This data is not associated with specific people viewing the Łukasiewicz – PORT website. To ensure the highest quality of the website, we analyze log files to determine: which pages are visited most often, what web browsers are used, whether the page structure contains errors, etc.

The collected logs are stored for an indefinite period of time as auxiliary material used to administer the website. The information contained therein is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorized to administer the server and the Łukasiewicz – PORT network. Based on log files, statistics can be generated to help with administration. Collective summaries in the form of such statistics do not contain any features identifying people visiting the website.

Each User may disable the “cookies” mechanism in the web browser of their end device. The Operator indicates that disabling cookies may, however, cause difficulties or prevent the use of the system.

Łukasiewicz – PORT is not responsible for the privacy policy and cookie collection policy of websites linked to from this website.

The purpose of processing your personal data is:

  • communication and replying to messages — the basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the data controller or a third party — marketing activities or responses to sent messages;
  • conclusion and implementation of business contracts — the basis for processing is the necessity to conclude a contract (Article 6(1)(b);
  • direct marketing of the Administrator’s products and services — until you object to the processing of data for this purpose or withdraw your consent — the basis for processing is the consent or legitimate interest of the Administrator;
  • fulfillment of legal obligations imposed on Łukasiewicz – PORT (Article 6(1)© of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the so-called General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR);

Providing Personal Data is voluntary, but it may be necessary, for example, to conclude or perform a contract or to respond to an inquiry or to conduct correspondence.

Consent to the processing of personal data in the above scope is voluntary. Failure to consent cannot be the basis for your unfavorable treatment and cannot cause any negative consequences for you.

Your personal data may be disclosed:

  • entities providing services to Łukasiewicz – PORT, including IT, HR, accounting, transport, courier, postal, service, agency, training and advisory services;

Łukasiewicz – PORT may store personal data for a longer period than that indicated in the previous sentence only if it results from the obligation imposed on Łukasiewicz – PORT by the provisions of generally applicable law.

Within the limits specified by law, you have the right to request:

  • access to your personal data;
  • their corrections;

  • transferring data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable IT format. You can send this data to another data administrator or request that Łukasiewicz – PORT send it to another administrator. However, Łukasiewicz – PORT will only do this if such a transfer is technically possible. You have the right to transfer personal data only with respect to data that Łukasiewicz – PORT processes on the basis of an agreement with you or on the basis of your consent;
  • object to the processing of personal data based on the legitimate interest of Łukasiewicz – PORT.

In the case of personal data processing based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data by Łukasiewicz – PORT violates the provisions of the GDPR.

In the event of a change in the applicable privacy policy, appropriate modifications will be made to the above provision.
