Our Mis­sion and Sci­en­tif­ic Leadership

PORT for Health: Neu­ro­science 2023 con­fer­ence is orga­nized by the Life Sci­ences and Biotech­nol­o­gy Cen­ter locat­ed at the Łukasiewicz – PORT, a part of the Łukasiewicz Research Net­work. The mis­sion of the dynam­i­cal­ly grow­ing cen­ter is to tack­le the biggest chal­lenges of mod­ern med­i­cine through top-notch, trans­la­tion­al research accom­plished by teams led by cre­ative and expe­ri­enced leaders.

Inter­na­tion­al Col­lab­o­ra­tion in Can­cer Research

The Neu­ro­science 2021 edi­tion fea­tured a dis­tin­guished inter­na­tion­al line­up of experts from lead­ing research insti­tu­tions across Europe and beyond. Speak­ers rep­re­sent­ed renowned cen­tres such as:

cov­er­ing cut­ting-edge top­ics in neu­ro­bi­ol­o­gy, neu­rode­vel­op­ment, and trans­la­tion­al neuroscience.

Con­tri­bu­tions also came from aca­d­e­m­ic and indus­try lead­ers, includ­ing researchers from Shang­hai Jiao Tong Uni­ver­si­ty and John­son & John­son Inno­va­tion, cre­at­ing a rich forum for sci­en­tif­ic exchange and inter­dis­ci­pli­nary dia­logue. The diverse exper­tise of the invit­ed speak­ers under­scored the glob­al scope and sci­en­tif­ic excel­lence of the con­fer­ence program.
