From Sam­ple to Insight: Advanced Ana­lyt­ics for Oncol­o­gy Research

Mod­ern oncol­o­gy research requires pre­cise and com­pre­hen­sive analy­ses that trans­form bio­log­i­cal sam­ples into valu­able insights. This pre­sen­ta­tion will show­case how spe­cial­ized lab­o­ra­to­ry ser­vices sup­port the devel­op­ment of can­cer ther­a­pies and diag­nos­tics, lever­ag­ing advanced ana­lyt­i­cal tech­nolo­gies to ana­lyze metabo­lites, bio­mark­ers, pro­teins, and oth­er key mol­e­c­u­lar indi­ca­tors present in bio­log­i­cal samples.

Con­tem­po­rary research increas­ing­ly relies on com­pre­hen­sive, mul­ti-lev­el ana­lyt­i­cal approach­es that help to bet­ter under­stand mol­e­c­u­lar process­es occur­ring in bio­log­i­cal sys­tems. Such inte­grat­ed strate­gies sup­port the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of impor­tant mol­e­c­u­lar pat­terns and con­tribute to the progress of bio­med­ical and trans­la­tion­al research in oncology.

Mal­wina grad­u­at­ed in biotech­nol­o­gy from Wrocław Uni­ver­si­ty of Sci­ence and Tech­nol­o­gy and sub­se­quent­ly gained expe­ri­ence at a CRO com­pa­ny in the field of Drug Dis­cov­ery. She spe­cial­izes in the bio­analy­sis of small-mol­e­cule com­pounds, with a par­tic­u­lar focus on ADME analy­sis and has exten­sive expe­ri­ence in con­duct­ing high-through­put analy­ses using a range of LC-MS/MS systems.

She is also spe­cial­ist in the opti­miza­tion, val­i­da­tion, and trans­fer of bio­an­a­lyt­i­cal meth­ods, with expe­ri­ence in man­ag­ing research and devel­op­ment projects and col­lab­o­rat­ing with exter­nal clients. Since 2024, Mal­wina has been work­ing at Łukasiewicz – PORT, where she works at the inter­face of sci­ence and busi­ness, active­ly fos­ter­ing new part­ner­ship opportunities.
